Mustang Trekking

This region is one of the most popular destination for the tourist all around the world because of it mysterious caves appear on the rock and amazing rain shadow landscape along with naturel beauty. There is no doubt about it charm and it has its own popularity and incomparable naturel feature as well as distinct history. From where you can observe so many others snow clads mountains, amazing Buddhist religion with semi Tibetan Nepalese culture & lifestyle including historical palace, etc. Buddhist cultures flourish much in this region. During your trip you can see old monasteries, stupa, praying wheels and prayer flags, etc.        

Geographical Feature: Naturally Upper Mustang contains beautiful and amazing landscape including snow covered mountains. It has a geographical diversity. Naturally it is rain shadow area so that there is less amount rain is appears only during the rainy season. Therefore it looks like a desert. Definitely it has own characteristics which make it differ from the other places and famous for internal & foreigner tourist. This region is combination of hills of sands & mountains which are attractive to look at. In other hands strong wind blows at the noon.

Biological Feature: In this region you can see less number of populous trees (Binomial Name: Populus ciliate), fire, apple trees and some others herbs which are very valuable. Animals of this region are mountain sheep and some other domestic animals like yak, cow, horse & goats (chyangra).

Location: Western part of the Nepal Province No. 4 Mustang district with the boarder of Tibet.

Major Mountains View: Mount Annapurna I, Mt. Annapuran II, Mt. Annapurna III, Mt. Annapurna IV, Mt, Gangapurna, Mt. Tilicho Peak, Mt. Dhaulagiri and so on with elevation of above 6000 m.

Culture & Lifestyle: This region is highly influence with the semi Tibetan & Thakali cultures. They are inhabitant of this region. Their main occupation is hotel & business & agriculture. In addition they grow vegetable, buckwheat, wheat, barley and they also keep domestic animals like yak, cows, horse, goats, etc. The yak & the horse are the main means of transportation.

Religion: Buddhism is the main religion of the region. So when you entry this region you can see so many monks and old Buddhist monasteries praying wheels throughout your trip.

Accommodation: There is no worry about hotel and restaurant facilities. There are enough guesthouses available with good hospitality in affordable prices having verities of menu included with local food. Food is prepared by the full experienced and trained cook.
