Everest Region

This region is one of the most popular destination for the tourist all around the world because of it scenic beauty. There is no doubt about it charm and it has its own popularity and incomparable naturel feature. From where you can observe so many others snow clads mountains, amazing Buddhist culture, etc. at once.    

Geographical Feature: Naturally Everest region contains so many mountains and its geographical feature is almost similar with the others mountain region. Definitely it has own characteristics which make it different and famous among the other. This region is mountainous by nature. Including Mount Everest having 8848 m altitude from the sea level beside this there are so many others mountains situated in this region which are; Mt. Lotse, Mt. Choyu, Mt. Amadablam, Mt, Pumari, Mt. Nuptse, Mt. Thamserku, Mt. Island Peak, Mt. Labuche Peak, Mt. Kongde and so on with elevation of above 6000 m.

In other hands there are so many famous lakes like; Gokyo lake, Imga lake, Dudhpokhari lake, Dudhkunda lake, etc. The whole region is irrigated with Dudhkoshi River which originated from the glacier of the mountain of this region. When we entry this region we can see this river and we travel along with this river that lead us towards our destination. We cross it many times during our trip. It is one of the biggest Himalayan Range of Nepal. Which is name as Mahalangur Himalayan Range.         

Biological Feature: In this region you can see pine, rhododendron and many others herbs which are very valuable. Animals of this region are mountain sheep, rear animal musk dear, read panda, lophophorous, etc.

Location: Northern part of the Nepal Province No. 1 Solukhumbu district with the boarder of China. It’s located in the Sagarmatha National Park with the area of 1,148 sq. m which is included world heritage site as well. It was established in year of 1976 by government of Nepal for the preservation of vegetation and animals.

Major Mountains: Beside Mount Everest there are so many others mountains situated in this region which are; Mt. Lotse, Mt. Choyu, Mt. Amadablam, Mt, Pumari, Mt. Nuptse, Mt. Thamserku, Mt. Island Peak, Mt. Labuche Peak, Mt. Kongde and so on with elevation of above 6000 m.

Culture & Lifestyle: This region is highly influence with the Sherpa culture. They are inhabitant of this region. Their main occupation is trekking, mountaineering, hotel & business. In addition they grow vegetable, buckwheat and they also keep domestic animals like yak, cows, horse, etc. The yak & the horse are the main mean of transportation.

Religion: Sherpa people are Buddhist follower. So when you entry this region you can see so many monks and Buddhist temples praying wheels throughout your trip.

Accommodation: There is no worry about hotel and restaurant facilities. There are large numbers of guesthouses available with good hospitality in affordable prices having verities of menu included with local food. Food is prepared by the full experienced and trained cook.
